Little Elm ISD encompasses 40 square miles in the SE corner of Denton County along 62 miles of shoreline of Lake Lewisville. One of the fastest growing districts in the state of Texas, we serve students who reside in the communities of Little Elm, Frisco, Hackberry, Lakewood Village, The Colony, and Oak Point. 

Our community maintains a "small town" feeling, yet because of our close proximity to the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, our teachers and students have access to the same resources as many large communities. More than 8,000 students are projected to attend LEISD during  the 2021-2022 school year with a continued 3-4% growth annually. Currently LEISD has one high school, two middle schools and six elementary schools.
