The cutting-edge academic programs that distinguished CNSE and SUNYIT in the past have now established SUNY Polytechnic Institute as a high-tech global leader in public higher education. As the world's most advanced, university-driven research enterprise, SUNY Poly boasts more than $20 billion in high-tech investments, over 300 corporate partners, and maintains a statewide footprint.  SUNY Poly's Utica campus offers eight master's degree programs and three certificate programs on-campus and online.  The MS in Accountancy (AACSB accredited) degree program, available fully online, is designed for students looking to increase their knowledge in the accounting field to either advance in their professional careers or to qualify to sit for the CPA exam.   The MS in Computer and Information Science degree program provides students a strong theoretical and application-oriented education, coupled with a specialization in software engineering, systems and architectures, algorithms and theory, and/or artificial intelligence and modeling.  The MS in Family Nurse Practitioner degree program prepares expert advanced practice primary care clinicians capable of providing care to families in primary care settings.  The MS in Information Design and Technology degree program, available fully online explores the role of new and emerging media within contemporary culture and communication, while placing particular emphasis on the social impact and potential of new communication technologies.  The MS in Cybersecurity: Network and Computer Security degree program, available fully online,  offers students a cutting-edge curriculum in the field of cybersecurity focusing on practical security in networking and computing. Over 60 graduate assistantships are awarded each fall to select full-time graduate students who have been formally admitted to a master's degree program at SUNY Poly and have applied for assistantship consideration. Graduate assistantship positions include research assistant, teaching assistant, lab assistant, program assistant, and information technology services assistant.   A number of SUNY Graduate Diversity Fellowships are awarded each academic year to full-time graduate students who qualify for admission with minimum GPAs of 3.0 or better. The award may include a partial to full-tuition waiver and a cash stipend for the academic year.  Applicants to all graduate programs at SUNY Poly must hold baccalaureate degrees from accredited colleges or universities. Each graduate program has specific, additional admissions criteria and required application materials. For most programs, application deadlines are: July 1 for fall semester admission and December 1 for spring semester admission. The "Family Nurse Practitioner," and "Network and Computer Security" degree programs are only accepting applications for the fall semester. Application deadlines for these programs can be found on the SUNY Poly¿s Graduate Admissions webpage.  All applicants must apply using SUNY Poly’s online application for admission available at Graduate Admissions – Apply Now.  The beautiful, tree-lined campus is located in Utica, New York, nestled in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains.
