Over 60 graduate assistantships are awarded each fall to select full-time graduate students who have been formally admitted to a master's degree program at SUNY Poly and have applied for assistantship consideration. Graduate assistantship positions include research assistant, teaching assistant, lab assistant, program assistant, and information technology services assistant.   A number of SUNY Graduate Diversity Fellowships are awarded each academic year to full-time graduate students who qualify for admission with minimum GPAs of 3.0 or better. The award may include a partial to full-tuition waiver and a cash stipend for the academic year.  Applicants to all graduate programs at SUNY Poly must hold baccalaureate degrees from accredited colleges or universities. Each graduate program has specific, additional admissions criteria and required application materials. For most programs, application deadlines are: July 1 for fall semester admission and December 1 for spring semester admission. SUNY Polytechnic has the charm of a woodland setting, and is conveniently located minutes from NYS Thruway Exit 31.
