Research & Labs
The academic program has been enhanced by a contemporary educational complex, which features a Center for Pharmacy Practice with community and institutional practice areas. A new interactive computer laboratory and resource center and a pharmaceutical information center complement these facilities. Pharmacy faculty and students use a fully equipped manufacturing laboratory/pilot plant in Mellon Hall basement.

Nearly 100 Years Of Experience Educating Pharmacists
The Duquesne University School of Pharmacy is ranked first among Catholic pharmacy schools by the U.S. News and World Report. In addition to earning a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, undergraduate students graduating with a Pharm.D. also earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy Foundations. Graduates of the Duquesne University School of Pharmacy Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) program benefit immediately with job opportunities in a variety of practice settings and average starting annual salaries of more than $112,000. And our students are well-prepared. Our recent graduates achieved a 86.2% first-time pass rate on the NAPLEX licensure exam in 2021, far exceeding state (77.4%) and national (78.6%) average pass rates.
