MVH is a privately owned full-service companion animal hospital located in a beautiful, state-of-the-art building designed by a nationally recognized firm. Our facility is located on 8 acres in McKean, PA located 10 miles south of Erie, PA, on the shores of Lake Erie.

Work week is VERY reasonable with after-hours and weekend emergencies handled by local emergency hospital.

We encourage new graduates as well as experienced veterinarians to apply. New grads are supported with initial salary guarantees while they are consistently mentored and supported in building practice skills. Typical salary in the first year is 80K to 90K in additional to full health benefits, CE, subscriptions, dues and retirement account. We do require a strong work ethic and a desire to practice high quality veterinary medicine and surgery. Good communication skills and a compassionate approach to helping clients and their pets is essential. Good leadership skills are very helpful as well as an ability to work with team members effectively. We encourage healthy life/work balance. Surgical practice is not required, but preferred.
