Master of Physician Assistant Practice

Campbell University’s Physician Assistant (PA) Program endeavors to meet the future needs of the PA profession and its role in the healthcare delivery system throughout the continuum of care. The program promotes patient-centered, evidence-based medicine preparing students to be competent healthcare providers.
This additional one-year program provides 32 credit hours of public health courses. Students will spend their first year completing the MS in Public Health (MSPH) coursework (including fall, spring and summer semesters). The year as an MSPH student will be solely devoted to public health curriculum.
The following year, students enter the Physician Assistant (PA) Program to complete the required 28-month PA curriculum, in addition to their MSPH research project.

The DHSc program is a 100% online, 54 credit-hour, interdisciplinary doctorate that equips post-professionals with skills and expertise to positively shape the future of healthcare and health-related organizations.
The program courses are 100% online and in a convenient accelerated 8-week format.

Students pursuing their MSPS complete one year of core courses, then in their second year complete either a co-op with a pharmaceutical company or a research project on campus, plus at least 8 credits of electives to gain expertise in chosen subjects.
The MSPS degree program is designed to enhance an individual’s research and contract service capabilities. Students who complete this degree are prepared for careers in the pharmaceutical industry doing drug discovery, development, and/or production or further studies at the doctorate level. The degree offers training in each of the major areas of pharmaceutical development: Bioprocessing, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutics and Pharmacology.

MS Clinical Research Online
The MS in Clinical Research curriculum provides students with an in-depth understanding of producing and interpreting medical evidence in a variety of practice settings. Students can enroll full-time to complete the program in two years; or, choose a part-time option.
Graduates are prepared for leadership positions in pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, government agencies, medical institutions, academic institutions and hospitals. Within these fields, graduates are qualified to work as clinical research associates, project managers, data managers, clinical monitors, biostatisticians and many other positions.
Faculty members in the Department of Clinical Research are recognized experts, published scientists, committed mentors and proven professionals. They bring a combination of scholarly theory and real-world experience to the classroom, providing students with innovative ideas and preparing them for the career they always wanted.
The Master of Science in Public Health degree provides students with a solid foundation in health care research and outcomes evaluation. The program focuses on the promotion of health and prevention of disease, rural health care research, community outreach and service learning opportunities.
