About FEMA
We are a team of federal leaders who support the people and communities of our nation by providing experience, perspective, and resources in emergency management. For us, emergency management is not a job, it’s a calling. Each of us finds strength and value from our role at FEMA, whether we are helping others in the office or in the field.
Before Disasters, we help people understand risks to life and property and motivate them to take action – individually and collectively – to reduce these risks, build capabilities, and prepare for disasters.
During Disasters, we message, mobilize, and coordinate to support state, local, tribal, and territorial response efforts to stabilize communities.
After Disasters, we help individuals and communities recover after a disaster and build back stronger.
Every FEMA employee plays a critical role in building a prepared and resilient nation, whether supporting human resources, information technology, policy and program work, deploying to a disaster, engaging directly with survivors, or performing any other function within our agency. Virtual Recruitment & Hiring Fair May 29th from 10 - 4 PM ET
Meet FEMA hiring managers at our open-house style job fair. During this virtual event, you’ll have an opportunity to ask questions, share your resume, and potentially set up an interview for a position. We’ll be sharing information on participating departments and open positions prior to the event so be on the lookout for resources to help you prepare.
