RowanGSBS is South Jersey's center for biomedical research located on the RowanSOM (School of Osteopathic Medicine) campus. We have all the benefits of a large university but with a small campus feel in Stratford, NJ. Our state-of-the-art research facilities are fully equipped to answer the latest, toughest questions in biomedical research and were founded to provide graduate training in the many disciplines of biomedical science. We seek to attract talented students to our programs and develop well-trained, enthusiastic research scientists who are equipped to address critical deficits in our knowledge of the biomedical sciences, specializing in cell and molecular biology research.

» MS in Molecular Pathology and Immunology: Prepares students for careers in molecular diagnostics

» Summer Research Internship: Calling all undergraduate research students! Want to do something meaningful this summer, and get PAID for it? Apply for our Summer Undergraduate Research Experience-a 10 week, tuition-free, PAID internship at RowanGSBS. The SURE program is designed to provide a stimulating hands-on research experience for undergraduate students considering graduate education in the biomedical sciences. Research opportunities for students are available in many areas of biomedical research including mitochondrial biology, developmental biology, inflammatory mediators, aging, gene expression, cancer biology and neuroscience.
