As part of the Georgetown University community, Biomedical Graduate Education offers an outstanding educational experience within one of the world’s leading academic and research institutions. Each year, BGE attracts more than 500 exceptional master’s, doctoral and dual degree students to one of its 33 degree-granting programs in fields such as biotechnology, bioinformatics, biohazardous threat agents, biomedical science policy, pharmacology, physiology, and many more!

Many of our graduates have established careers with the National Institutes of Health, the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, the Naval Medical Research Institute, the Food and Drug Administration, and the Department of Homeland Security. In addition, Georgetown is located within minutes from Montgomery County’s I-270 Biotechnology Corridor, which is home to over 200 of the country’s leading biotechnology companies.
