CUWSOP offers three dual degree programs that enable students to earn a specialized master's degree along with their PharmD degree:

PharmD/MBA Business Administration

Tomorrow's pharmacy leaders are being formed today. This degree combination provides an exceptional path for graduates to prepare for management, administrative, entrepreneurial, and leadership roles in pharmacy and healthcare organizations.

  • Gain admission into dual degree prior to starting P1 year or anytime thereafter
  • Begin MBA coursework as early as P1 year
  • Earn up to 19 credits that count towards both degrees, leaving as little as 20 additional MBA credits taken outside of the PharmD curriculum
  • No GRE or GMAT required
  • Online and face-to-face courses allow for a self-paced, flexible schedule
  • Can be completed concurrently with PharmD coursework or extended as student desires

PharmD/MPH Public Healthcare
As healthcare reform continues to be at the forefront of the healthcare industry, prevention-focused public health is projected to grow in demand and importance. Pharmacists can and should play a critical role in leading this discussion. The PharmD/MPH dual degree program allows students to focus on medication safety and pharmacovigilance concentration to complement their passion for service and desire to improve public health.

  • Gain admission into dual degree prior to starting P1 year
  • No GRE or GMAT required
  • 39 credits: 12 credits through CUW count toward both degrees, remaining 27 credits through Concordia University Nebraska
  • The online format allows for a flexible schedule
  • Can be completed concurrently with PharmD coursework or extended as student desires

PharmD/MPD Product Development
Born out of collaboration with industry partners, the innovative Master of Science in Product Development gives students hands-on and industry-relevant experience taught by experts in the field. Students will choose one of two concentrations: Pharmaceuticals or Chemicals. As the only degree of its kind, graduates are prepared to fill an unmet need and become future leaders in the product development industry.

  • Two tracks: Pharmaceutical (drug development) or Chemical Product (manufacturing, process chemistry)
  • Students work in state-of-the-art analytical, pilot-scale manufacturing, and compounding labs
  • The curriculum blends technical skills with business strategy, market analysis, regulatory/compliance, and legal considerations
