Our Urban Advantage

St. Louis offers the best of both worlds: big city allure with a small town feel. The city is a hub of cultural, educational, and social activity, yet it’s small enough to navigate on your own. Residents can enjoy the excitement of city life or the tranquility of nearby historic neighborhoods, just a few miles from downtown.

Within a block of campus is Forest Park with its 1,300 acres of green space, tennis courts, outdoor ice rink, and golf course. The park is also home to the Saint Louis Art MuseumMissouri History MuseumSaint Louis ZooSaint Louis Science Center, and The Muny outdoor theatre.

The Central West End is full of sidewalk cafés, neighborhood pubs, art galleries, antique shops, and trendy boutiques. Across the street from campus is a light rail MetroLink station, providing access to the city’s central corridor. Board the train to shop at Union Station, eat at a café on Laclede’s Landing, or take a tram ride all the way to the top of the Gateway Arch for spectacular views of the city.
