Research and education form the creative graduate mission of Penn Engineering. Two key elements distinguish the Penn Engineering experience from that provided by many other institutions: Exceptional academic programs, and practical design and research experience. The excitement and discovery of research is open to all students and is the keystone of our world-renowned Ph.D. programs. These programs are augmented by a diverse array of master's degree offerings. Applications for 2016-17 Fall term are now open.
Our collaborative research and learning environment truly distinguishes us from our peers. Students work with and learn from faculty mentors within the core disciplinary programs as well as through scholarly interactions involving the School of Medicine, the School of Arts and Sciences, and The Wharton School. This environment is further enriched by Penn's many institutes, centers, and laboratories. For more than 100 years, Penn Engineering has been at the forefront of innovation, just like our University's founder, America's first scientist and engineer, Benjamin Franklin.
The 2016-17 Application is now available now.
We are now accepting candidates for the Fall 2016 academic year. If you are not sure if you would like to apply, you can fill out our INQUIRY FORM to receive specific program information.
Please note, Penn Engineering does not admit students for the Spring semester.

Application Requirements
* This requirement can be waived if the candidate has completed at least three (3) years of academic work on a full-time basis at a university-level institution in the United States or in a country in which English is recognized as the official language or where the medium of instruction is English.
