The Tufts University School of Medicine’s Graduate Degree Programs provide an ideal environment to study public health. Our access to the world-class facilities offered by the School of Medicine provide our students with top-notch clinical training.

Regardless of their chosen professions, all of our students graduate with the breadth and depth of knowledge that are the hallmarks of a Tufts education.

Graduate Programs

Masters in Public Health (MPH) program, earn your Master of Public Health (MPH)—on-campus or online—and develop the academic foundation and practical skills you need to make a difference in your community and around the globe. 

   Concentrations

Health Informatics & Analytics (HIA) program, which is an online program that helps students develop the broad-range of skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the interdisciplinary fields that lie at the intersection of healthcare, IT, information management, and data science. 

Physician Assistant (PA) program, which has a strong emphasis on clinically-based training and preparing students to begin patient care immediately upon graduation. With a 100% pass rate on the PANCE and a highly rigorous two-year curriculum, graduates of the Tufts School of Medicine PA program are well prepared to succeed.

MS in Biomedical Sciences (MBS) program, which is a graduate-level program designed to offer the best possible preparation for successful admission to medical or dental school. 80% of graduates of the MBS program at Tufts who apply to medical school are accepted. 

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) programs with locations in Boston, MA and Phoenix, AZ follows an accelerated, hybrid model.  Our 7-semester evidence-based curriculum gives students, from wherever they are in the country, access to an online virtual classroom. The curriculum includes 67 weeks of educational curriculum spread across 7 academic semesters and includes a clinical experience.
