Butler University

Master of Physician Assistant Studies Program

Butler University is home to the oldest physician assistant (PA) program in the State of Indiana. Our 24-month curriculum will prepare you to take the national certification exam, apply for state licensure, and provide patient care in various medical or surgical practice settings. We are in the heart of Indianapolis, the 14th largest city in the country and partner with all the major healthcare systems to offer students outstanding clinical experiences. We have supervised clinical experiences in rural and undeserved areas too. Butler’s program boasts above-national-average board passing rates with very low attrition as well as a 100% job placement rate within six months of graduation. This makes Butler one of the premier PA programs in the country.
