One University, Two Campuses

We educate more than 14,000 students at CU Denver, our comprehensive campus in downtown Denver, and more than 4,000 students in our research and advanced health care programs at the CU Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora. On the two campuses, there are more than 140 programs in 13 schools and colleges at the undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, and professional levels, including some that rank among the nation’s best. Through partnerships with business and industry, public schools and local governments, health care clinics and community outreach programs, the University of Colorado Denver | Anschutz Medical Campus is an integral part of the Denver metro area and Colorado.

The Largest Academic Health Center in the Rocky Mountain Region

Our Biomedical Science PhD and MD/PhD programs are located on CU Anschutz, the only comprehensive academic health sciences center in Colorado, the largest academic health center in the Rocky Mountain region, and one of the newest education, research and patient care facilities in the world. 

CU Anschutz features: Graduate School, Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Science, School of Dental Medicine, Colorado School of Public Health, School of Medicine, and a College of Nursing

All interconnected, these organizations collaboratively improve the quality of patient care they deliver, research they conduct, and health professionals they train.
