The Bush School of Government & Public Service at Texas A&M University was founded in 1997 as part of the Presidential Library and Museum honoring George H.W. Bush, a life-long public servant. A nonpartisan school, it’s committed to educating principled and productive leaders who want to make a difference.
About 75% of Bush School graduates work in the public sector, making an impact as leaders and managers in government and nonprofits; as directors of public agencies; as analysts of intelligence, policy, and budgets; as specialists in international development and multinational enterprises; and as advocates for policy issues affecting education, energy, environment, health, and security. Degree students here receive scholarship support ($1K-15K in aid per year and in-state rates), a flexible curriculum that collaborates with a tier-one research university, professional networking opportunities with academic and expert practitioners, and career assistance to find the jobs that matter to you.
