12 years ago, I dropped off a PhD program in energy related field (engineering thermophysics) for personal reasons. I turned around and worked in IT for these years, got a reasonable career in IT software. I thought I will be satisfied with an IT architect job for the rest of my life, only later find out that I was not meant to be stuck in a large corporate bureaucracy and filling out requirement papers. I really want to do something meaningful to help making the living environment of our children a better place to be. It is probably a little bit late for me to go back to my PhD research work, but with the years of professional experience I gained in IT, specially my project management knowledge and my MBA in finance, I am confident that I can come back to renewable energy field and make my contributions.
