     Course work includes classes such as: Sustainable Design, Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, Thermodynamics, Laser Theory, Environmental science, and Undergraduate Research in addition to the standard Mechanical Engineering curriculum.  Major design projects include the design of a hydro-electric power plant, and a redesign of a Gulfstream galley to reduce noise.

     Course work completed includes core courses for engineering in preparation for transferring to Georgia Tech.

SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE
     CATIA V5, MS Office, Solid Edge, AutoCAD, Solid Works, MatLab, Revit Architecture, Adobe Photoshop, and much more.


RESEARCH
     Participated in a research program with the Georgia Institute of Technology in Opto-electronic communication focusing specifically on Gallium Arsenide Photonic Crystal Waveguides.  This research involved the concurrent design of the physical waveguides as well as their manufacturing process to produce a more robust design that can attain high real world transmittance rather than a theoretical peak that is rarely obtained.
