RESEARCH Participated in a research program with the Georgia Institute of Technology in Opto-electronic communication focusing specifically on Gallium Arsenide Photonic Crystal Waveguides. This research involved the concurrent design of the physical waveguides as well as their manufacturing process to produce a more robust design that can attain high real world transmittance rather than a theoretical peak that is rarely obtained.
